What foods can I grate?

The list of foods that you can grate with the grater plate is almost endless! But here are some ideas for you to let your imagination run wild and surprise your diners.

– Tomato for breakfast toast or to make a tomato sauce.
– Onion, garlic and carrot to make a flavor base as if it were a vegetable stock cube.
– Parmesan cheese. From the grater plate directly on your plate.
Ginger to cook, to make soft drinks or infusions of ginger that is so good and healthy for digestive health.
– Turmeric. Good anti-inflammatory and essential ingredient in a good curry sauce.
– Potato. To make a French omelette with grated potato and grated garlic… just as you hear it.
– Apple. Grated apple on a little yogurt with cinnamon and molasses.
Strawberry grated on yoghurt or on a pancake.
– Zucchini grated for the omelette or vegetable stir-fry.
– Radish grated for the salad or a sauce with a spicy point.
– Nutmeg. When freshly grated, this is the secret of the croquette.
– Grated almonds on any dessert or to replace cheese in pasta dishes.
– Cucumber grated for a rich tzaziki sauce.

How do I get the grated contents out of the inside of the plate?

We can easily remove its content in different ways, we can do it with a brush or kitchen brush (or even a toothbrush that we use for this purpose), we can do it by gently passing our finger and dragging the content outwards, we can dilute the grated content with a little oil or water to help us drag the grated food, or we can tip the plate so that the grated food content falls.

Does it grate with a dry or wet plate?
In the case of dry foods such as nutmeg, Parmesan cheese, almonds, or stale bread, it is best to grate these foods with the dry plate. In the case of garlic, you can add a little oil to the dish to make it easier to remove and enjoy the garlic already mixed with the oil.
